Day 1 - Kempten

In the morning:

Kempten started out as a Roman settlement. Today, almost 70.000 people live in the busy Allgau town. Kempten radiates a sort of Italian flair, welcoming guests to the town's shops, sights and interesting guided tours. Kempten has something in store for everybody.

During a guided tour of Kempten Residence, including the State Apartments and Throne Room, you will find out everything there is to know about the history of the town and see a fascinating rococo exhibition.

In the afternoon:

During a visit of Erasmus Chapel you can „listen“ to the stories which the walls have to tell. A multi media show projects images and videos onto the historic walls, teaching you about Kempten's past dating back 8 centuries.

Day 2 - Castles Neuschwanstein and Linderhof

In the morning:

Today you will head to the fairy tale castle built by king Ludwig II. It is without question Germany's most popular tourist attraction: Neuschwanstein Caslte. After taking a guided tour inside the chambers, you can gaze upon the South front of the castle from bridge Marienbrücke. Here you have the most spectacular view of the castle.

In the afternoon:

After lunch you will travel to Ettal county, located at the far South of Bavaria. Your journey will take you to Linderhof Castle, also known as "royal villa". It is said to have been the favourite place of residence for king Ludwig II. Its beautiful baroque park will have you dreaming.

Day 3 - Skyline Park Bad Wörishofen

Day trip:

Welcome to Bavaria's largest theme park. You will find Skyline Park between Munich and Lacke Constance. Surrounded by the impressive Alpes, the park offers about 60 rides for the whole family. Feel the thrill of roller coasters and wild water rafting of relax by one of the many lakes.

Day 4 - Garmisch-Partenkirchen

In the morning:

Garmisch-Partenkirchen is located at the foot of the Zugspitze, Germany's highest mountain, and is well-known as a winter sports ressort. The town's landmark is the Olympic Ski Stadion, where in 1936 the Olympic Winter Games were held. The arena's ski jumping hill is visible from miles away. From the top you have a breathtaking view across the Alpes mountain range.

In the afternoon:

You continue to Partnach Gorge and go for a not too strenuous hike. The trail leads you to the most beautiful natural monuments in Germany, including rock formations and raging waterfalls.

Day 5 - Munich

In the morning:

Everyone who visits Bavaria should include a trip to the State capital. Your stroll through Munich's city centre begins at the famous Marienplatz Square and a look at city hall. From there you will check out Frauenkirche and the daily food market at Viktualienmarkt.

In the afternoon:

Weather permitting, you will spend the afternoon at the English Garden to relax or head over to the nearest shopping mile. For having dinner you may choose to go to world-famous Hofbräuhaus another typically Bavarian restaurant.
