Welcome to ASTUR Education

We are ASTUR, youth travel operator, based in Germany. From our headquarters in Fulda we have been organising international exchange and language acquisition programmes since 1986. Through our programmes we bring the world together. It makes us happy and proud to make our international partners and guest students more familiar with German language, culture and way of life.

Meet our ASTUR destinations

ASTUR operates approximately 40 Centers all across Germany. Here, our international guests are accommodated in our homestay network. ASTUR host families welcome you with open hearts and open minds. Each Center is headed by a Center Manager who works in close contact with the ASTUR main office in Fulda. You will find an overview of our available centers via the following link.

ASTUR Highschool programmes

Beside Summer Camps, Group- and Language Travel programmes, we also offer Highschool programmes in Germany. If you want to attend a regular German Highschool, ASTUR can take you there. This programme can range from 2 months to whole school year, during which you have a new (host) family and make a lot of new friends. You can even carry over your school grades from Germany back to your home school, so that you don't have to repeat a year at home.

Should you wish to not dive, but rather dip into the Highschool experience, there is always the possibility of booking your trip short-term. Through the ASTUR School Immersion, you get a one- to four-week taste of what it is like to be a German Highschool student.

ASTUR Summer Camps

Did you ever think about going to Germany during your summer holidays to attend a summer camp? Well, you should, because it is amazing. Choose from our wide range of camp experiences with different focal points, ranging from traditional language camps to creative, sports and adventure camps.

You can either learn a foreign language in the morning and do fun activities during the afternoon, or you can focus entirely on your talents or interests. In a safe environment your teamers will help you learn, grow as a person and have fun at the same time.

Interested in group travel?
ASTUR is an experienced group travel operator and can assemble programmes to your needs and wishes. Whether you are planning a trip with your school class, sports club or orchestra, we would be thrilled to create the perfect trip for you.

Highschool in Germany
If you don't live in Gemany, but would like to experience life as a German student, we recommend you take a look at the ASTUR Highschool programmes. We can offer you stays ranging from 1 week to a whole school year.

Our host family network
When you travel to Germany with ASTUR, you can choose from a large number of host family centers to be accommodated at. It improves language acquisition and intercultural competence. But make sure not to confuse a host family with a hotel.
