Class trip to Berlin
Naturally, trips to Germany's capital Berlin count among our most popular group travel programmes. Since the city was founded in the 13th century, Berlin has seen glorious as well as bleak times. On countless occasions Berlin set the stage for events of national or global importance - not only as the capital of the Federal Republic of Germany, but also beforehand.
Berlin proves herself an excellent teacher of lessons drawn from historical events. The 20th century showed of what horrific or fantastic deeds people can be capable. When visiting the various memorials, commemorating the atrocities of national socialism or Cold War, when learning about German Reunification, you are confronted with different realities which shaped us all in a way. In contrast to such heavy topics, Berlin is also very good at entertainment and excitement. Today Germany's capital buzzes with cosmopolitan flair.
